Oakville Wild

During an Oakville-wide ‘Name the Team Contest’ held in March of 2016, members of the Club and community submitted their suggestions for a team name for the Club. The entries were narrowed down to the four most popular submissions – Oakville Wild, Oakville Coyotes, Oakville United, and the Oakville Lions. Club and community members then voted on their favourite team name, and Oakville Wild was the winner.

OSC worked closely with The Laundry, a design firm that had created OSC’s crest several years ago. In consultation with staff and members, the Oakville Wild logo was created and reflects the strong brand of the Oakville Soccer Club by using its crest shape in the face of the lion and integrating the core colours of the Club – blue and red.
